What is the EBITDA Calculator?
The EBITDA Calculator helps business owners, analysts, and finance teams estimate operating profitability before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization. It also compares adjusted EBITDA, margin, leverage, coverage, and valuation indicators in one structured report.
How to use it
- Select the reporting period and currency.
- Choose whether you want to calculate from net income or EBIT.
- Enter revenue, depreciation, amortization, debt, cash, and any one-time adjustments.
- Review alerts, scenarios, metrics, and the PDF report.
Practical example
If a company has revenue of 1,200,000, net income of 145,000, interest of 50,000, taxes of 45,000, depreciation of 70,000, and amortization of 30,000, EBITDA helps evaluate operating earning power before financing and non-cash charges.
Professional note
EBITDA is useful but not complete. It does not replace cash flow analysis because it ignores capital expenditures, working capital changes, debt repayments, and actual tax payments.
